We’re all on a journey.

It’s easy to forget that everything we have is a gift, but our vision is to see the Triangle transformed by the joyful living and giving of Christ followers. No matter where you are on your journey, our community is committed to walking together towards the God who holds nothing back.

WE WANT TO PARTNER WITH YOU

  • GENEROUS CHURCH  offers churches the opportunity to inspire their members to consider how God is inviting them to explore together what it means to live generously as individuals and as a church.  We encourage the Generous Giving curriculum to be initially experienced by the church leadership to understand what we have to offer. There would be no cost and no expected commitment.  Another option is to present the content over several weeks through Sunday School or Small Groups.  The content invites discussion around various scriptures and video stories of families and individuals with creative approaches to living generously.

  • GENEROUS CLASSROOM is a curriculum available for your child’s school to share similar curriculum as the Generous Family.  The students go through a study over several weeks of video stories, conversations and steps to act on in response to seeing creative ways to be generous with their words, thoughts, attention, influence, belongings, time and money. There is a curriculum specifically created for private schools and home school groups.

  • GENEROUS FAMILY  offers families a KIDS Book Club as well as a curriculum sharing children stories and creative inspiration to think about and discuss together how a child can be generous and how a family might think about ways to do it together.   Generous Family shares how living generously involves not just money but includes our words, thoughts, attention, influence, belongings and time.

  • JOGS, or Journey of Generosity are mini-retreats that present the Generous Giving curriculum to adults throughout the Triangle.  As stated above in Generous Church, the Generous Giving curriculum invites discussion around scripture and several video stories of generous living. Various JOGS are hosted locally throughout the year and you are also welcome to host a group of your friends or church group together to experience the retreats.  There is no cost, no asks or formulas.  Just an opportunity to pull away and have space to explore generosity together.  The JOGS are offered in a one day format, 9am-4pm or an overnight that begins on Friday at 3pm and concludes at noon on Saturday.  We do recommend the overnight timeframe.  We also strongly recommend married couples attend together.

  • WOMEN DOING WELL is a mini-retreat specifically designed to help women explore their individual, God-given PASSION, PURPOSE and PLAN.   This PATHWAY curriculum walks women through scriptures and video teachings and stories as well as exercises that give them opportunity to lean into what the Lord might be inviting them to participate in as they see their unique passion and heart for what is broken in this world.

  • Tom and Mary Vande Guchte

    FOUNDERS OF GENEROSITY TRIANGLE

Tom and Mary have been married over 40 years and have five adult children and ten grandchildren. Mary has been a full-time mom and has been actively involved as an “almost full-time” volunteer in the church and community for their entire marriage.  Tom is a former CPA who has started or acquired multiple businesses since 1992.  In 2014, Tom and Mary attended a Generous Giving Celebration of Giving that changed their lives.   Although they had always been generous, the stories they heard at this conference changed their whole perspective on giving.  They went from believing that “they should give” to “we get to give… we get to participate with the God of the universe in the work He is doing here on earth”.  They have experienced the joy of giving and it has impacted their marriage and their life mission.   They believe that everything they have has been given to them by God to be used by them to be a blessing to others.    God has called them to inspire others to live a generous life.    God invites all of us to experience the joy of living a generous life and they love helping others discover the unique calling He has for them .  Tom and Mary are trained facilitators for Generous Giving and Mary is a trained facilitator for Women Doing Well.
